Come to The Rifleman on October 13th for More Pathfinder

October 10, 2013 under Announcements, Charcon, Events, The Rifleman

Looking for PathfinderStarting at 1:00 PM at The Rifleman we have a full plate of Pathfinder for you. The first serving is for levels 1-5: #23 Tide of Morning.  If that’s not enough we also have Scenario #4–18: The Veteran’s Vault for 1-5 as well.  For our higher level characters we have some real meat for 7-11 looking for #28: Lyrics of Extinction.  Finally in the middle we have #4–02: In Wrath’s Shadow for levels 3-7.  This is a great offering and a mere appetizer for the feast coming next week at Charcon.

We will not be scheduling games at The Rifleman on October 20th.  The majority of our players and GMs will be at Charcon at the Charleston Civic Center.  the last slot starts at the same time we usually play, so even if you can’t make the whole weekend you could come on Sunday.  The day rate is only $20 and we have plenty of prizes and convention boons to give away.

Venture-Captain Dennel Hamshanks sends you to convince an Andoren druid named Hemzel to allow the Pathfinder Society to study his recently discovered lorestone, a minor magical item that unlocks some of the mysteries of the ancient Andoren druid circles. When you arrive and find Hemzel murdered and the lorestone missing, you must race against time to recover the lorestone and stop Hemzel’s murderers from using it against the druids of Andoran.

While many Pathfinders meet unfortunate fates in their ongoing explorations of the dangerous world of Golarion, some retire with decades’ worth of treasure in their coffers, and their lives still intact. When one such Pathfinder approaches the Grand Lodge with the hidden location of her treasure vault, it falls upon a new generation of Pathfinders to retrieve from within a valuable keepsake. That they can keep anything other than the ex-Pathfinder’s locket makes the assignment all the sweeter.

The fabled ruined city of Dokeran, deep inside the heart of the Mwangi Expanse, has been found and it’s your job as a Pathfinder to explore it and discover how it fell. After fighting through fiends, enslaved warriors, and the damned spirits of Dokeran’s dead, you find that the ruined city has a dark secret—one you might not survive.

In the ruins of Xin-Bakrakhan—seat of power of the Runelord of Wrath—the Pathfinder Society stands on the verge of a great discovery, but first the brave agents exploring the ruins must survive ages-old dangers and contemporary threats to return with the knowledge and wealth they’ve unearthed.
