Jewel City Game Con 2014: Round 3, May 16 – May 17

May 8, 2014 under Announcements, Events, JCGC

JCGCJewel City Game Con is a yearly Euro-style board game convention based in Huntington, WV. The variety covers bits, cards, dice, and playing boards as the pieces to play many social games geared towards couples and crowds. Pathfinder and SparkForce7 are our established RPG buddies! This year we are expanding the pathfinder offerings thanks to the the Huntington Pathfinder lodge which was established last year.  It runs from May 16 at 4:00pm to May 17 at 11:30pm. :ast year was a lot of fun, and it looks like this year will be even better!

The convention is located at the Pullman Plaza Hotel: 1001 Third Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia 25701

The schedule for Pathfinder Society Events is as follows. We will also have a copy of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game for those who want to give it a try:

  • Matthew says:

FTR: everyone is paying at the door with cash or card…will set up online for prepaying when we pass 100 and can expand to 3 days [hint-hint]

    $10 Friday only
    $20 Saturday only
$25 discounted price for both days

CHILD (under 10) and NON-PLAYING VISITOR:
    $5 Friday
    $10 Saturday
$12 discounted price for both days

As always…active/veteran military with ID are free

The tiny price jump this year is because JCGC is catering chips and sodas from the hotel both days…this hotel does not allow outside food in their conference areas, but was very helpful in getting us nummies at reasonable prices. Several places to go grab a bite downtown if you want more nourishment. You can also order from the hotel kitchen…if you don’t want to leave 😉

(based on who has asked to run tables…interested please PM Stacie Meadows)
